First born son and fiancé picked this gem for their wedding party. We were privileged to relax for 6 days in one of the cottages directly across the street from sunset beach. First time for me in Florida, and it was as laid back as it gets. Great owners, great staff, great area. We visited several local spots as well as tourist areas, golf courses, and Disney World.
Along with several uniquely individual cottages and apartments in an incredible location, they have a well thought out and spacious courtyard area in the middle of the cottages. BBQ grills, tables, rinse shower, beach umbrella, and extra chairs, and all within 50 yards of the Sunset Beach veranda with seating and toilets. Ours was a 2 bedroom, full kitchen stocked with thoughtful amenities as well as cookware, a front porch and a carport. I highly recommend bringing your bikes as you are within distance of many business as well as scenic areas.
We will definitely return when we next visit Florida!

Love Sunset Inn and Cottages...
We have stayed twice at the MacDill Cottage and couldn’t ask for more. Walk across the street to the sandy shores of the beach or talk a stroll down the Blvd for beach eats and sites! If you have a pooch the dog beach around the corner is great! The ladies make you feel like your at a home away from home, so much so we are moving to Florida!

Our son planned his wedding across the street from Sunset Inn and we booked the entire inn for family and friends. The rooms are beautiful and well decorated. The owners/managers are a pleasure to work with. This location is a Gem. If you are visiting Treasure Island I would highly recommend this location.
